THE ANGIOGENESIS FOUNDATION

'Imagine that one medical advancement held the promise to conquer cancer, perhaps within your lifetime. Now imagine that same advance has the potential to also end more than 70 of life's most threatening conditions, affecting one billion people worldwide. This is the promise of angiogenesis, the first medical revolution of the 21st century.' Dr. William Li

The Angiogenesis Foundation

Founded in 1994, the Angiogenesis Foundation is the world's first nonprofit organization dedicated to conquering disease using a new approach based on angiogenesis, the growth of new blood vessels in the body.

Angiogenesis is the 'common denominator' in society's most feared diseases, including cancer, heart disease, blinding disorders, and more than 70 other conditions. Our focus on this underlying process makes our approach as a medical organization unique and effective, and is already leading to breakthroughs for several cancers, diabetic wounds, and macular degeneration.

The goals of The Foundations are : 1) to advance modern medicine by championing a new approach to health and disease; 2) to improve the lives of people who can benefit from angiogenesis treatments and preventative measures on a global scale; 3) to transform the way society views health and disease based on the balance of angiogenesis in the body.

We are committed to helping people around the world benefit from the full promise of this approach, and to make the treatments available to everyone in need.

The Angiogenesis Foundation is creating an online global community to participate in this new approach for conquering disease: join us here .
