U2 For Super Bowl in New Orleans

U2 will perform live at the Super Bowl, taking place at the Louisiana Superdome, in February. The Super Bowl is the highest-rated TV programme and the most-watched single-day sporting event in the US. This year's game will be televised live on FOX - an estimated 130million viewers in the US will tune in, with as many as 800 million viewers worldwide. U2 will perform during the E*Trade Super Bowl XXXVI Halftime Show, which takes place on February 3rd. 'This year's show will take on new meaning in light of recent world events.' said NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue. 'We are pleased that the spectacular talent of U2 will become part of our Super Bowl halftime tradition.'
