Despite the lack of an album in 2001, U2 swept the board in Ireland's annual Hot Press Readers Poll. U2 topped the poll in eight categories, including Best Group, Best Live Act and Best Polling Act. They also took prime position in the Love of the Year category for their two performances at Slane Castle, widely considered among the live highlights of the band¹s career.
