With the Fall leg of the 'Vertigo//2005 Tour' confirmed, a new system is in place to manage presales to U2.Com Subscribers who have yet to get tickets.

As promised in Larry's letter last month, work has been done to overhaul and improve the system. The pre-sale will deal first with former subscribers to the band's longtime magazine 'Propaganda' who are now U2.Com Subscribers.
Then it will deal with U2.Com Subscribers who have not yet been able to purchase tickets for 'Vertigo//2005'.

This weekend we have mailed instructions to all U2.Com Subscribers who will be included in the pre-sale - those who have not yet been able to buy tickets for 'Vertigo//2005'.

It's no secret that the pre-sale to the North American first leg of the tour failed many fans, but the new method should enable those U2.Com Subscribers in North America without tickets to get them this time round. There are more shows than before, we have far more tickets available and they are spread throughout the venue.

First thing on Monday (tomorrow) we will be mailing those Subscribers who are eligible with all the details they need for the presale.

Please remember that we can't guarantee that you will get the exact ticket you want. What we are offering is the chance to get in first and only compete against yourselves for tickets. It would be great if it could be perfect and though we know we can't make everyone happy, we have worked hard to make it fair and to make good on our promise.

More news as we get it.
