Backstage with one of the founders of Greenpeace.

Dorothy Stowe, one of the founders of the worldwide environmental movement Greenpeace, had only ever been to one other rock show. And that was a Greenpeace benefit organised by her late husband Irving Stowe in 1970.

But on Thursday Dorothy was backstage at the Vancouver show sharing her many years of campaigning wisdom with Bono.

Incidentally, this weekend also saw the death of another key person in the genesis of this great organisation. Read about Bob Hunter and the early days of Greenpeace here
