Elevating The Charts

12 July 2001

U2's new single Elevation is starting to climb charts across the world.

Following its debut in Australia last week at No. 6, this week the single went to No. 3 in Spain and No. 5 in Norway.

The track is also at No. 14 in Holland, No. 16 in Italy, No.22 in Switzerland, No. 25 in Austria and No. 31 in Germany.

The single, which features in the new Tomb Raider movie and opens the soundtrack album, is shortly released in Finland, Sweden,, Denmark, France and Ireland.

This Monday, July 16th, Elevation is released in three formats in the UK - this is notable because it includes the first ever U2 DVD single release. Likely to become a collectors edition.
