Bono has collaborated with British bluesman Jools Holland on a completely reinvented version of If You Wear That Velvet Dress.

The track, recorded in London earlier this year, features on Holland's latest album of collaborations, Small World Big Band Volume Two: More Friends which is just released. And at some eight minutes long, with Holland on piano and Bono in the smokiest of jazz club modes, it is hard to imagine how the original song became the new one.

Hear for yourself.
