Beautiful at the Rose Bowl

8

There were 96,000 fans at the Rose Bowl last month. And plenty of them turned up early on the off chance that they might get to see the band. They were in luck.

Check out this special behind-the-scenes, ahead-of-the-show clip, just for our U2.com subscribers.

I"m there...waving,at the 37 sec mark... but funny thing was when we were standing at the gate waiting to go in, that isn't the band we are waving too...but they sure make it look that way! Cool....

Stuck in GA
I missed the chance to see the Lads in my hometown because I was stuck in the GA line. I don't have any complaints however because the show was Magnificent! I did catch a glimpse in Chicago after the last night of sound check and they were gracious as ever! I unfortunately didn't have a camera with battery life because of a LONG day of flying. Oh well I have 2010 now to HOPEFULLY get a little face time.

Before I die...
I'd like to see Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry up close and personal outside the concert itself. I've been a fan since the early 80s and hope to have the chance someday... Sue - CT, USA

Yep, I wuz There
I'm the one whose face appears for a second during "Go Crazy" at YouTube's broadcast. Right at frame 4:09 of that segment. On the right-back-hand side. Sunglass dude. I know, crazy editing skills. I know.... took me awhile but I saw myself. ha!

Meeting U2 1997
Seeing U2 Live since ZOO TV Tour back in 1992 was a LIFETIME Highlight for me and now after actually meeting all 4 members of U2 back in 1997 after the POPMART gig in Pittsburgh PA I am really excited to see U2 doing the same thing for other fans - I got to see U2 now over 65 times Live in Concert around the WORLD and even meeting them for the last time in NEW ZEALAND in 2006 - These guys really are great people and seem to genuinely care about the fans they play for and like to come out and meet the true fans who come out early to meet them - I told Bono he was more of a Brother to me and has given more advice than anyone will ever understand - I am happy just to give the band my feed back on a few shows and a couple of song suggestions that Bono asked for in May 2001 WHO KNEW They would actually end up on the set list !!! WoW !!!! See you in 2010 !!! My 10 month old wants to see you in the next TOUR so please come back for her ! Cheers ! Chas
