Like Being There

5

In the second part of our subscribers-only chat with Willie Williams, he talks about plans for the next leg of the tour, his favourite part of the new live DVD and which of the famous faces who've hit the red button to open the show called it 'the coolest thing I've ever done in my life.' Enjoy!

Listen to Part I here.

(Don't forget that Willie is asking you to submit three simple questions which could end up in a new piece of screen content for the show. Why not upload your questions as an audio file - more here.)

The Coolest Thing
I have to say, Willie, I've been listening to U2 since the beginning and I've devoured every video and DVD I can get my hands on. I will attend my very first concert in Salt Lake, but I don't think you have to see them in person to appreciate them. Every single time I hear their music, or watch them, I notice something fresh and new. They connect to us on so many different levels. There's the music, the lyrics, the visuals...just the thrill of being with the greatest rock band in the world. I think the Rose Bowl DVD will be watched and watched again because your perspective will change each time you experience it. I wasn't at that concert, but their music and lyrics touch your soul whether you're lucky enough to be there in person or not. That's why they're so amazing. They connect to us in a multidimensional way and that happens when all four of these wonderful men are playing together. Research shows that the more senses you use when experiencing something, the more you'll learn. This band (and all of you who make this magic happen) completely fill us with all of those sensations. Thank you!
