'Blown Away' in Dallas

Allegra Calkins ('Allegra' in Zootopia) reports on the preview party for the Rose Bowl DVD held in Lochrann€™s Irish Pub in Frisco, Texas.

Once the U2 360 at the Rose Bowl DVD started in Lochrann's viewing room, we were blown away. The surround sound quality was amazing and seeing it up on the big screen really brought it to life! It really did make you feel like you were there!

It€™s one of the best if not the best U2 DVD. Everything was amazing... not just the sound, but also the close up shots and the blimp and helicopter shots too. Both the sound and the visual editing was excellent - the editing guys deserve an Oscar!

During the evening, most patrons would quickly pop their head into the viewing room, not once or twice, but several times. Towards the end of the video more patrons were doing less peeking and more standing still. They were basically in awe.

Great!

Great story Allegra! Sounds like a great night!I have the DVD...sitting in my house...still wrapped and it's killing me not to open it. What I've decided to do, is have my own DVD viewing party on July 12th....the day my family and I were supposed to see U2 in Philadephia. To make my 9 year old son feel better, about not seeing his and my favorite band.....yet!.....We are having our own DVD party. Can't wait, maybe some of my neighbors, young and old will pop their heads over to my house to see what's going on! Hmmmm...A U2 viewing Neighborhood party?...Not a bad idea..not at all!

Great!

Isn't it wonderful how the power of U2 draws them in. We had 'Geeks that Drink' trivia going on in the other room at our pub, and there were a few Geeks popping in and checking out the DVD as well.
