'We are better than U2...'

On Friday Australian comedians Hamish Blake and Andy Lee were performing their tune 'We are better than U2' on their massively popular radio show when who should turn up but... U2.

The band performed Desire and Vertigo... and Bono kindly offered to knight Hamish and Andy. As you do.

Stuck in a Moment

Stand up to comedy stars

Thanks for posting this funny video! It makes me laugh a lot! Hamish and Andy deliver a brilliant piece of comedy and Bono proves his unique sense of humour by honouring them with a knighthood. The acoustic versions of "Desire" and "Vertigo" are both intimate and powerful and Bono;s voice is thrilling as ever! Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam have to be careful of the guys, who are better than U2! ;-)

loved your 1st melbourne concert

this was very funny to see lol. I have to feedback that i was at the first melbourne concert and i am still buzzing from it. So loved finally seeing U2 live.....sighs wish i could see it again. Keep rocking U2!

How cool is that!!!!

Not a regular Hamish and Andy listener (although I do love some of their work) but that is about as cool as it gets. How lucky is Andy Lee - shacked up with Megan Gale and then on stage taking the p#$% out of U2 only to have them appear with him. Now I know I'm in the wrong line of work.

AMAZING!!! God bless Hamish and Andy and U2. They have so many songs in their back catalogue it would be hard to come up with a set list. So, here is my dream set list to see performed at a show. And this would also include a couple of their latest tracks to honour the tour commitments with Island records - even though clearly, more fans like the old stuff better than the new stuff.
