Just discovered this jewel!

It's so amazing to listen to these songs that shaped in a way what U2 is today. Loved this one in the concert of U2 Go Home in Slane Castle, and hopefully we'll be able to see this one in a DVD somewhere soon. Yes, even if I didn't have them I would give those 500 pounds to them to become what they are. Out of Control is one of my favs I guess it implies that we all, even when time has gone by, still have that little kid inside who wants to get out of control from time to time.

First album era

This stunning performance captures the raw power and uniqueness of U2;s earliest material in an impressive way. With "Out Of Control" U2 brought a lot of youthful energy and vitality into the show. With that charismatic performance U2 proved their great talent to make those early songs sound fresh and mature at the same time. Considering the fact that Bono wrote "Out Of Control" on his 18th birthday I am amazed by the young singer;s earnestness to deal with two things that can not be determined by ourselves: birth and death.

I had tickets to see you guys last June in Anaheim, CA. so I can't wait until you are back here the end of June. I have been reading these comments & I so hoped that you would play some of your "classics". Being a fan from the beginning, it is so hard to pick your favorites, but it looks like you are bringing some of them back. I always loved it when you ended the show with "40". Maybe in Anaheim? Thanks..Adam, Bono, Edge and Larry and all staff. This weekend was unforgatable. I watched saturday e sunday. Both Magnifcent. Play Zooropa on sunday was magic. I like a lot this song, and i never imagined watch live. The Musical notes flew like stars green and yellow in the Brazilian Stadium. “Zooropa, fly the friendly skies.” Was spetacular. Thanks for The big surprise. I traveled 3000km(from Fortaleza-CE to São Paulo-SP) to see you. Sun, rain, cold, tired, but very happy. It was worth it. Please come back always... Brazil loves you!!!!!!!

It was a magic moment!

I was really surprised when you started to play Out of Control... it was fantastic! The show of April 10 (Sunday) was the best I've ever seen in my life! The best performance of U2 in Brazil... it was a historical show! I went to the show in São Paulo in 1998, in the two evenings of 2006 and now I'm proud to say that I've been in all three shows you performed in São Paulo... It was awesome! I will keep this im my memory forever, hoping that you will return soon! Thank you, guys!!!

The young man running

Our dream came true. I and my 10 years old son, who Bono called "the young man", were in Morumbi, São Paulo, last saturday and yesterday to see the U2 shows, the greatest and most emotional shows I`ve ever seen in my life. My son, just in the moment when Bono started runnig with him through the stage grew up from the little 10 years old boy to a real young man, old enough to be a U2 superfan, singing and playing guitar all their songs, and who wants to be a musician like Bono, with the same will of justicy to end the extemelly poverty, this is the generation that Bono and all U2 are helping to make a better world. Thank you guys, expecially Bono for this moment, God bless all of you. See you in the next show.

No matter how bad life may seem at the time, all i need to do is listen to Out of control and life suddenly seems great again. This is my feel good song. Would love to be at a concert to hear it live and loud.
