Mermaid in Electrical Storm

17 September 2002
The video for Electrical Storm - directed by Anton Corbijn - will be on TV around the world this week. So watch the sparks fly.

The video was shot in the south of France, last month and stars Larry Mullen - as you've never seen him before - and English actress
Samantha Morton, as a mermaid. She recently starred opposite Tom Cruise in Minority Report.

This is U2's first new release since All That You Can't Leave Behind two years ago. The song, says Bono, 'is about a couple in a room, feeling a storm brewing in the sky outside and equating that to the pressure they feel in their relationship.'
