It's Official: U2 Live In London in February

26 January 2001
U2.COM can exclusively reveal that U2 will play a free one-off live show for fans at London's Astoria Theatre - capacity 2,000 - on February 7th.

And U2.COM will be offering tickets to the show for winners of a competition launched next week.

This latest live show follows similar low-key club dates by U2 in Paris and New York in the Autumn. U2 last played in London in 1997, during the POPMART tour, before 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

The Astoria show, when U2 will be supported by DJ Jon Carter, comes in the month that the band are set to perform live at The BRIT Awards in the UK and The Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. At the end of March U2 open their Elevation Tour in North America.

Keep checking U2.COM for first competition details. And for first news on all exclusive developments with U2, register with U2.COM for e-mail updates.
