Edge says it's the closest he's ever been to experiencing what fans experience at a show. The Independent in the UK says that 'it's genuinely easy to forget you are watching a concert on screen rather than being there in person.'

 WOW!! I loved it! I could almost hold Bono's hand, play on Edge and Adam's guitars and steal Larry's drumsticks! I watched it on 11 May, Bono's birthday at Gateway, Durban, South Africa. I lip synced the songs since I'm sure the rest of the audience did not want to hear my voice, and Bono singing Miss Sarajevo was amazing! The closest I have ever been to seeing the guys live. U2 is the best band in the entire world! And the 3D glasses are funky...

 I watched U23D on 2th May. Wrocław is about 75 kilometers from city, where I live-Legnica.
There is a pic, where I'm waiting for U23D. I took the pic without flash, 'cause I didn't want the man who gave out 3D-glasses notice me :P But before a moment I brigthed it ;) So, at the first I had to get tired with commercials(but it's a funky watching something in cinema :P). At last! Wonderful sound, 3D effect...Aaaamaaazing!!!
There was a moment where I thought Bono is or Adam Clayton was in front of me!!!When Bono standed in front of camera, waved his left hand...I burst out laughing! I don't know why. It wayed out without my control! :P But It was mega amazing :D
As a whole, it was very good. In British marking, I would give C+ or B- .The sound was really wonderful!

Today is 10th May. I'm listening to U2 with big proud. Bono, Happy Birthday!!!When my mom see you on TV screen, she sends kisses to it :D I just wish you that you long for yourself ;)

 Hello, hola again! I already wrote a review on the 26th of March and meanwhile I saw U23D in Vienna, Austria again. Every time I walked out of the cinema I was as happy as if I had been in a real U2 concert. The 3D technology is an amazing possibility to have an experience instead of just watching a film. It makes you feel the whole emotional depth of U2. This film has not only the purpose to remember Vertigo 2005/06, but it takes you there again and again.
I have gone 300 kilometers only to see U23D. It takes me to that other place and it teaches me how to be awe-struck.

Dear U2,
VIELEN DANK for this stunning film and for all the great concerts in my country. I hope to see you once again. Your fans will never forget YOU, TOO!

 First time watched a 3D based film and it's exhilarating. I cannot explain how I felt when I watched the film. They we're within my grasp! It's simply amazing and fantastic!  At the begining I felt speechless, astonish, disconcerted, uneasy, but then a happiness overflew for each of my pores.... It was absolutely fantastic. There had been a new and true sensations compound. Feelings that I’d never had experience. Just like an internal and only tornado. A magnificent sensation of really had being there. Now I confirm my suspicion: it is for me completely impossible to live physically and emotionally without U2 music/lyrics.

 Saw the movie in Vancouver and LOVED it! Only drawback is we couldn't jump up and sing and dance with the crowd. Love the shots when Bono looks right at you. So great to get a better perspective of the band and their instruments. Went again last week here in Edmonton and had plans to go again this week but it's not playing anymore! Sooo disappointing!! There was hardly any press or advertising. Bring it back, please!

 My friend Sooz and i have seen it 3 times in a week...gets better and better each time...i took my husband, 15 yr old son and 4 yr old twins last time we went and they all LOVED it! I cant even explain how it feels the first time Bono turns to camera and looks at you...2 feet away...MOTHER OF GOD! I think even my husband had the hots for him in that moment :-)Sooz and i will be seeing this atleast a dozen more times before it finishes in NZ..FANTASTIC.

 I was never really a U2 fan but got dragged to the Imax experience by some friends. Simply put I was blown away. That was amazing I am now a U2 fan all the way. I listen all the time! I have even gone back for more fun with others. I felt like the Imax experience was better than the live concert because I was on stage with the band. This made me want to be a Rock Star.I highly recomend U2 3D to anyone!!!

 I loved this movie. I have been to numerous conserts over the years, spent many hour in lines. Saw The Vertigo Tour 7 times,in LA, Las Vegas and in Hawaii. I knew the song that was about to be played by the first cords were played. Everytime I would loose my voice for days after each consert. This movie made me feel as if I were back at this consert again and even thougth I had been luck enouth to be up close to many of those conserts, the thrill I got from being able to see these guys really up close for the first time is undiscribable. To see Bono's sweat and lines in his face for the first time is an image I will never forget. When he sang Miss Sarajevo, I really thought I would be diapointed that Pavarotti was not there to sing his part, but instead I got chills when Bono started singing. The urge to get up and want to get up and sing and dance as I usually do at a U2 consert was over whelming at times. If your a U2 fan and want to see a real up close look at the guys perform you must see this moive, and see it more thatn once like I did.

 I had no idea what to expect. That's a good thing. What I didn't expect was Bono in my face, floating over Larry, and being in the crowd in Rio! The best 3D I've ever seen to date. Once again, U2, in a class of their own, has taken their medium to has given it to another level of exploration. Awesome!

 I intermittently kept forgetting that it was a video - literally - the guy in front of me was acting like he was at a real concert and quite frankly I had to take the "funky" glasses off to rebalance my equilibrium a few times. I actually "ducked" once from a fan in the video spraying water. I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to see more of them but I really don't ever think that it will replace going to see one of your shows.

We went to watch U23D last night and we thought it was AMAZING: The most interesting thing was the fact that we could see Bono,Larry,Edge and Adam from very...and I mean VERY..close. ...we did miss a few songs like "City of blinding lights" and "Original of the species" which we think are among the best tracks on the HTDAAB album..but hey...we were very pleased with the show anyway.  My husband and I walked out amazed after seeing U23D in an Imax theater. Both called friends to report it's a must-see. I felt like a fly at a concert, being privileged to get close-up views of Adam, Bono, The Edge and Larry. I've attended several U2 concerts, but have never experienced anything like U23D. It was surreal. This was absolutely the finest 3D film I've ever seen.

 I couldn't make it to the Dutch premiere, so I went a few days later. It was a bit sad to see that so few people made it to the cinema, but we could pick the best seat in the house!

Glasses on , ready to go!! It was a trip! Loved every minute of it and it may have lasted for three hours. Music a bit too soft to my liking (and to the liking of my fellow visitors.... I was kindly asked to lower the volume of my voice.....). Bono dancing on my nose...couldnt'get much closer!

 I absolutely LOVED U2 3D. I saw it in Sydney while on holiday there. I was at Twickenham for the concert back in June 2005 and had seats (yes, not exactly conducive to wild jumping) and felt restrained. U2 3D was like being at the concert again but better. I loved the drink being thrown at the start making it feel like you were part of the audience and who can complain at the extreme 3D close-ups of all the band...hmmmm, Bono!

 I just went to see this movie at Cinemark Taipei and totally be shocked from the begining. I think the U23D is an amazing experiment trying to make watcher to think deeper and deeper. It put people in a virtual reality sense and I can see and hear Bono shooting just before me and Clayton's bass almost knock on my head. The lyrics, animation, notes and sounds, all try to communicate between U2 and us, a different way in comunication and a different way to change this world.

I went to see it with my dad, who is a great great fan of U2, too!! And we both enjoyed the concert very very very much... Each song made us feel happy, that day was one of our happiest day in our lives!!!
When the movie finished, we saw each other and the only thing we could say was.. Wow!!. There are no words to explain what we feel in that moment...
Thank U2 for giving me the possibility to feel with my dad the emotion of the film... That's all I can say...

 We had a great evening with U23D on the 12th of April in The Pathe in Amsterdam.The evening before we went to The Black Crowes in the Heineken Music Hall and the at the evening following we had our second concert with U2 in 3D!!
