More moments..
Sounds like you do take in those 'Beautiful Day " moments: gold sky; lovely eggs on toast; chat w/ old friends; the infectious excitement from colleagues. Thanks for sharing your poetic musings.

Tour Guide
Thanks for guiding us through the tour with U2. I've had the privilege of taking in the show twice: Chicago and Toronto, and will be charmed once again this weekend in Norman, OK. I truly enjoy the behind the scene glimpses you've provided the fans. THANK YOU!

"All those moments...
...will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."
Sci-Fi retrospective mood there Willie?
Really enjoying these little snippets of the tour. That hotel view is...erm, Fabulous. Was that the working title for Magnificent??

Gavin's Lights
I was at Gavin's show Willie and the lighting was superb. It seemed like you HAD MORE lights than were there at the house as you made great use with the color scheme that you chose. All the timing of the lighting, darkening when you did and brightening up at certain times, but mostly using color filters......it was great. I used my camera without flash so as not to get busted by Staffers (though others were more brazen!) and so the lighting kinda made it hard for me to get good shots! I haven't uploaded them yet but we'll see how they look when I get them on computer.
With all that you have on your plate, I'd say "Well done dude" but then, you're a pro, and you know how to run a show!! I was at BOTH Giant's stadium shows, wish I were going again, and enjoyed being at Gavin's show too. An altogether different experience, great entertainers (especially the lads) and all for (RED) which I've been a supporter of since Gap sold the first t-shirt a few years ago!! I even ran and repurchased one when another was cut off me after a bad auto accident landed me in the ER and all clothes, I was wearing my (RED) shirt, was cut off. First order of business once I was well was to replace it!!! Love (RED)
Again, great job WILLIE!!
PS: I have trouble getting to bed after a busy day too, per your previous diary entry. It's normal. Except I don't work for U2 - fantasy dream job!!!! I'm an Irish citizen though......and a Native NYer so loved your comments on our NY sunsets.......they get prettier in Fall & Winter! Nice to take them in with the juxtaposition of all the hustle & bustle of our great big city! Thanks for your part of our great shows on 9/23 & 9/24!

New York moments
I readily identify with the last paragraph of this entry, and I'm sure that countless other New Yorkers can as well. Working on the 47th floor of a midtown building, I often go days without even pausing in my work to look out the window. However, on certain evenings, I'll sneak into the conference room next to my office to witness the purplish-orange glow of the sun setting behind the Empire State building, illuminating all of southern Manhattan. A true New York moment, indeed.
