It's a beautiful day and I wasn't about to let it get away. Boston has glorious parks, greenery and architecture and as long as you don't attempt to drive anywhere it is one of the most charming cities in the USA. I spent most of the day out just strolling with friends. Even stumbled across the gargoyle shop I visited here about ten years ago - an extraordinarily atmospheric little shop selling gargoyles and other assorted ecclesiastical architectural elements (real and replicas) from around the world. That place and 'Avenue Victor Hugo' second hand bookstore occupied most of the afternoon. Early evening drinks, a sunset stroll across the Public Gardens, dinner in Beacon HillÖ Touring's hell, I tell you.
