Woke up to the glorious news that the mid-term elections have been pretty much a landslide for the Democrats. Better yet that Donald Rumsfeld has finally been sacked which made me feel like dancing a jig round Sydney Harbour. Imagine being described as 'the Architect of the War', what a hideous arrangement of words that is. No doubt hell still have a glorious retirement, living in the lap of luxury, but today still feels like a small victory for humanity.

Went out for breakfast with Damian, my video animator, then headed out to the stadium for a press call. The Moriarty family came too, to do a walk through with the news reporters and talk about the show and the Aboriginal artwork weve put together. Got back to the hotel early evening so didnt have time for a great deal more activity. Damian and I went to my favourite Thai restaurant, only to find half the tour was in there (my own fault for recommending it to so many people.)

After dinner we went for a walk round Circular Quay and took a midnight ferry ride to Kiribilli and back. It was a quiet night and the moon was up, so it was glorious to sail out with the harbour bridge on side of us and the majesty of Sydney Opera House on the other. It was a lovely thing to do, even if the boat wasnt stolen.
