Show Day: Cologne - Kolnarena, Show Two
As people began to emerge this morning, we reconvened out on the now sun-drenched terrace for a spot of breakfast. It was all very mellow & pleasant and as folks rolled up in ones and twos we started discussing what we'd dreamed about the night before. I had this mad dream featuring Madonna in a non-pop star role. We were on the hunt for something or other which now escapes me. Jerry (security) had dreamed he was on a swing, swinging really high and enjoying that feeling of the moment when the ropes start to slacken as you hit the very top of the arc. Father Jack said he'd spent his nocturnal imaginings being locked in a ticket office at a gig with Bob our tour accountant. "And it was a very small one," he said "and loads of people were reaching through this little window demanding tickets and we only had one or two between us. Sharon (wardrobe) had the best one, though. She said she'd dreamed that Vincent Price was lurking in the doorway of her room (it must be the castle atmosphere rubbing off - or perhaps today's date). She goes "so I said to him, Vincent would you ever come in. I LIKED you in all those movies, even though they were a bit crap."
