Show Day: London, Earls Court, Show Four
Having settled in to our 'bar band' residency here at Earls Court it comes as a dreadful shock to realise you're about to be evicted. This is exacerbated slightly by the fact that during the load out the equipment has to be divided into "Going to Slane" and "Not Going to Slane". Consequently much of the day saw grown men running around with rolls of tape and Sharpies, in a labeling frenzy.
We've had such a great week here and I know the band feel like they've been made extremely welcome back here in their old stamping ground. The other extraordinary thing about London this time round has been the weather - it's been so hot its felt more like New York. No complaints, mind. I spent the day running round taking advantage of a final day of comparative sanity before we dive into the assured madness of the week ahead, so I didn't get to Earls Court till about 6pm. Extraordinary how casual it becomes after a while perhaps its just as well we're moving on, before this turns into an office job.
