Very dented this morning. The 11am group luggage call came and went in a blur of baggage trolleys but I did just make it to the lobby for the 1pm departure. God this hotels ugly when youve got a hangover. Reviews in the papers are all very positive, so it looks like we dodged the bullet once again. The Gold Coast Bulletin commented that it was a great gig, 'however, it was the lighting that stole the show' which I should probably hide from the band members in the interests of job security.

I rode with Bono to the airport so we could have a mini show post-mortem en route. On the night Id felt that the show was all pretty loose, but looking back at the DVD it was a lot more together than I remembered. The didjeridoo and kite flying both went well, so well be keeping them.

I slept on the flight and kept my ambitions for the evening pretty low. Its nice to be back in Sydney and our hotels right on the water so its all about as pleasant as it gets. Early night.
