Up with the lark and on a plane from London to Copenhagen. This is an exceptionally beautiful city, quite transformed from when I was last here before Christmas. Then it was knee deep in snow, families skating in the town square, reindeer a-go-go, etc., whereas now it's a blistering sunshine afternoon.
Down at the gig things looked familiar, if a little squashed. The roof of this building is remarkably low so there's a major sardine can vibe, with everything jammed in.
All the crew folks are here, of course, returned from the short break, mostly looking cleaner and tidier than when they left the USA. There are some new faces too, as all of the bus and truck drivers for this leg come from the UK and weren't with us in North America. Having said that, most of them are veterans of previous U2 tours so on a day like to day there are usually far more reunions than introductions.
