Travel Day-6

I won't attempt much description of this morning's flight, as it was particularly ugly. Most of the crew only got back to the hotel about an hour before departing for the airport, so many of them opted to nap in the lobby rather than waste time going to bed and getting up again.

The flight happened anyway, and I went back to bed on arrival in London. On rising later I made some phone calls to get the gossip from the Ibiza Party Team. It sounds like they had a suitably wild time, partying till about 1pm the following afternoon before finally throwing in the towel. Its really most encouraging to think that this is the behaviour of a forty year old man with five children.

Its great to be in London. The weather's beautiful and I spent the evening strolling through Soho. I'm really looking forward to the week ahead, playing shows in the UK, there's so much good will towards U2 here at the moment.
