Vertigo Leg 1: 2005, US

Up with the lark and out to Heathrow with Joe O' to get a flight to Dublin. Already the whole city is buzzing with "the gig". U2 is the primary topic of conversation, closely followed by the weather forecast.

Checked into the Clarence Hotel, which is as tastefully minimal as ever, and got on the phone for updates from the site. Things seem to be running to plan, so I don't imagine I'll go out there tonight if I can help it. Tomorrow promises to be A Long Day.
