War Leg 1: 1983, Europe

A LONG way back down the road but I'll never forget it. My college friend Tom told me about the band - I'd never heard of them, still coming out of my head banger phase. I bought Boy and October and was hooked for life. I still remember queuing up outside the theatre, Bono's white flag, Bono on top of speaker stacks and climbing round the theatre balcony and that soul-searing music, that's been the soundtrack to my life ever since.
