Took the Kids
I saw U2 for the first time in 1982 and in 2009 got to take my two kids. I have seen them numerous times. I spent a whole lot of money that I didn\'t have to get us tickets, we drove from Austin to Dallas, I let them miss school. But it was so worth it. They were so excited and they still consider it a great memory! I loved being able to share another U2 concert with them. My son also became a big Muse fan as a results. Just such a memorable experince for us!

Amazed
I have been wanting to see U2 live forever. I finally got to go when they were in Dallas. It was completely euphoric/amazing/inspiring and everything I had hoped for. Rock on U2!

Sound was not good at the higer level se
This was my first U2 concert. I was really happy to see U2 in live. However, we got tickets on the 4th level of the stadium, and the sound was horrible there. When Muse was playing, all thing we could hear was loud noise with excessive echoes. I couldn't hear any lyrics. Then we abandoned our seats on the 4th floor, and went down to the lower level and stood there for the entire show. I am not so tall, so I watched the show through people's legs. I used my binoculars with 90 degree tilted way because I had to fit them to the shape of the slit between people's legs. Well, sound was much better in the lower level (still with some echoes). But I suffered from serious muscle pains next day. I am glad to see tiny Bono and other members performing through my binoculars. But honestly speaking, the 4th level seats shouldn't have been sold first of all. I saw majority of people in the level left in the middle of the show. U2 concert shouldn't be like that.

16th Birthday Surprise
October 12th was a day long awaited in our household. My husband and I were simply giddy with excitement at the prospect of seeing U2, but even more so in knowing that we would surprise our son with a special birthday surprise for ringing in number 16. Turning 16 is fairly momentous in the life of a young man, but getting to see your favorite ban EVER was something he would not soon forget!
What a night - loved every minute of the concert as the anticipation built for what was about to take place. I loved listening to strains of David Bowie singing Space Odyssey as we glanced at the space ship laid out before us.
I'll tell you - these four men are talented. And that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. From the minute they stepped out onto the stage to the time they walked off it was pure magic!
Bonon, The Edge, Larry and Adam are gifted and energetic in presenting their music to eager fans and they did not disappoint.
The new album is fantastic and was glad to hear so much of the new music. But there is something about City of Blinding Lights that just makes me want to RUN! I would have gladly taken that stage and given it my all to simply run. To or what I don't know - just that the music of U2 leaves me feeling hopeful and encouraged and flat WORN OUT!
The boys from Ireland still have what I'm looking for...

From Boston to Dallas
My wife, 15yr. old daughter, and I saw the 2nd Boston show on September 21 and were blown away by it. We all felt that we just had to see the show again and everything fell in place to go to Dallas. The trip was well worth it: we had excellent seats at the 200 level, the sound was terrific, the band was in fine form, and staying at a hotel within walking distance made it easy. Hard to choose a single highlight from such a strong show, but Until the End of the World was a knockout, and the new songs worked really well.
Overall a stunning night, I've been going to rock concerts since 1969, and if I've seen a better one, can't recall what it was.
Looks like the band won't be returning to Boston for summer 2010 - Toronto here we come.

An Unforgettable Moment
I've been a fan since 1984 and haven't missed a tour since 1985. I was lucky enough to see three of the shows from this tour (Landover/Dallas/Vegas) and what an incredible show and unforgettable moment for me at the Dallas show. I was the lucky one who had Bono wear my cowboy hat for a few moments during the "I'll go Crazy" remix. It was a truly incredible moment for me at such an amazing show and a moment I will never forget. Thankfully I was able to snap a few photos of that special moment. The band never ceases to amaze me with each tour. I've never been to an event where you can be with 70,000 other fans yet feel as one with the band. Loved hearing "The Unforgettable Fire" live again as well as hearing everything from the new album live for the first (or in my case, second) time. What an evening, what a show, what a memory! Thanks to the "Irish Cowboys"

Magnificent Show
It was totally worth coming from Austin, TX to get in line outside at 12:30 p.m. to be the 680th person in line! I was a little worried about waiting in line 4 1/2 hours befor the show (at my age), but the time just flew by! Although a little chilly (for TX, that is) and a little rainy, it was fun to meet new people, listen to their stories of other U2 shows they'd been to, and to sit around in our camp chairs and have one large picnic. Everyone was sharing their food and drinks. The "honor system" was great, passing down the Sharpie to number our hands so we could get in and out of line.
Once in the stadium at 5 p.m., we were able to get a spot in the inner circle about 10 ft. in front of The Edge. What a great view of the band and the stage! It was so exciting when the bridge came over our heads and having The Edge and Bono run around above us. The 360 stage was great. The show was incredible. Loved it! The New Cowboys Stadium was awesome and accomodations were great. Great place to see the show. Sorry to see so many others posting complaints about the accoustics. (My sound system was great in the car on the ride to Arlington.) I come for the visual, and it blew me away!

Awesome concert, sucky acoustics
This was my first U2 concert and I most say it was soo good after I moved from my seat.
Ticketmaster moved our tickets to the nosebleads without us noticing, which I wouldn't have mind if it wasn't for the horrible acoustics up there. I blame the acoustic problem on that big stupid screen.
After, Muse finished and U2 started we noticed the acoustics problem and by Mysterious Ways; we were trying to find a better place to listen to U2.
We relocated to the place with tables in the lower level, and watched the concert standing up with many others.
U2 was soo good, the lights and everything, that I can't say that I mind standing up.
I can't wait for the next time they come around, I am so buying the front row tickets next time

Great Show
Dallas was my first U2 concert, and I got to enjoy it with my college student daughter. I was blown away by the group. They are truly Hall of Fame, and I guess I can cross them off my bucket list. (actually, can't wait to see them again-so will not doing any crossing off!!). The stadium is a new wonder of the world- but.... the acoustics are terrible. The sound gets lost in there. I'm not even sure it gives the Cowboy's a huge advantage. And for the NCAA to put the Final Four in there is ludicrous. There will be 10,000 happy people, and 70,000 angry folks who would have had a better seat at home. Its time for the NCAA to come back to San Antonio, who puts on a great show. And, hey- U2, how about coming to the Alamodome for a show. We'll give you some authentic Tex-Mex hospitality!!!!!

Worth the wait!
Fantastic show in Dallas. We traveled from NM for our first U2 show (I've been waiting for 25 years to catch the boys live) and it was wonderful. Muse sounded huge; we enjoyed their set, but nothing could compare to hearing 70,000+ singing "Still Haven't Found" in unison. I've been waiting since I saw the Red Rocks video when I was a kid to sing "Sunday Bloody Sunday" with the crowd, and the song is just as powerful and poignant today as it was in 1983 -- maybe even more so with the green lighting and the images of protesters in Iran. "Streets" also made our night, and the new songs already sound like classics. Our sincere thanks to the band for treating every show like it counts; for us fans, every show does. See you again in Phoenix!

Sad in Shreveport
Love U2, they are brilliant muscians and inspiring human beings, which makes the our concert experience that much more disappointing. We couldn't distinguish one song from another, so we spent half our time trying to find a place where we could hear. Then we couldn't see anything. I feel like such a chump, I've read the rave reviews and I feel like I wasn't even in the same place...I am so sad...

Great Band, Terrible Venue
Worst concert of my life, but not because of the band. U2 was great, but seats in the 400 level should NEVER be sold at the Death Star. We couldn't hear anything. Many people actually left the concert after a few songs because it was unbearable. We finally found a place to stand in the 200 level where you could actually tell what song was being played, but then we couldn't see the show. What a complete waste of money. I'll never go back to a show at the Death Star, and I hope U2 never does as well. Please come back to Dallas, but play at a decent venue!

Thank you U2
As always, the boys put on a great show. I did not care for the venue, however. I felt cheated by the jumbo tron blocking the view of the spire at the top of the Claw. Having been to a previous stop on this tour, I know the spire plays a part in the light show. I, also, wish "Unknown Caller" had been included at the Dallas show since this was so well received in Chicago and the visuals were great. I did like the addition of "Until the End of the World". Don't play at this venue again, please. I thought the sound was fine but alot of other fans felt cheated. And what happened to Bono toward the end of "Moment of Surrender"? He appeared to be in pain...was it the sound from his earpiece...too bad the set had to end that way. But, all in all, a great night.

Magnificent in Dallas!
I have been to many U2 concerts and could not believe the 360 Tour at Cowboys Stadium! WOW! U2 was incredible and the stage was amazing! What a performance! Had a blast and thought the evening was GREAT! Thanks guys for rocking it in Big D!!!!
I think the entire metroplex was THERE!!!
I hope you return to Dallas in 2010 and loved the show but would request a smaller more intimate venue like American Airlines Center! I had great seats but you still seemed far away!

Sorry, but ...
U2's music has meant so much to me for so many years that I hesitate to complain, but ... While the Dallas show was fantastic, I was shocked and angered that Bono would applaud George Bush for his financial support of medicine for African AIDs patients. After just finishing a tribute to Aung San Suu Kyi and human rights activists, Bono congratulated a human rights violator. Where to begin. Bush started an immoral and illegal war in Iraq that has cost tens of thousands of Iraqi lives in addition to nearly 5,000 American soldiers. What about torture as US policy? Extraordinary Rendition? U2 did not need to pander to the Dallas audience. The audience was already theirs. And I doubt many of them wanted the opportunity to applaud Bush anyway. I've been following U2 for 25 years and I will continue, but it had to be said.

As always the show was awesome. No matter how many times you go it's always a different experience. Nothing will compare to seeing them in Dublin but awesome show. Looking forward to Red Zone tonight in Houston!
