This show made me a fan!
Can you believe this show in Chicago was my first live exposure to Bono or any part of U2? Through this indescribable experience, I have become a devoted fan for life at a ripe age that's, let's just say, ahead of Bono himself! The expansiveness of that man's mental and spiritual forces astonished me. I berate myself for not having seen the band live before but at least it was not too late! Not the whole band, but it meant a lot for him to say that he had the blessing of the others to do this differently-styled venture with guest musicians who were talented and let his narrative stand out. I urge anyone who can see this show anywhere not to miss the chance. Second best opportunity: Get the Audible version of the book and enjoy morcels each day or night. I expect to be listening to it over and over for years to come. And if the stars align, I hope to cross paths with some of you at the Sphere in Vegas. Celebrate Surrender and Songs of Surrender! It's a beautiful day.

Superb
In every sense of the word, this show was amazing!! I went solo, drove 6 hours from Ohio to attend and drove 6 hours back after. It was so worth my drive! Of course, I wasn’t truly alone because we all know U2 fans are family, so even though I never before met the people I was hanging with, the vibe was totally one of family. We shared stories and pictures and talked about the book. Never a dull moment at a U2 event. Bono’s voice was incredible, I laughed, cried, sang along and had just a magical night. I learned more about Bono and the band from this show and book than I have in 45 years of following. Such a fantastic memory to cherish.

Stories of Surrender in Chicago
Brilliant performance! I enjoyed every minute of the show! I went there by myself, but I was not alone. I was surrounded by my fellow U2 lovers who knew the backstories & lyrics to every song! This is the U2 crowd I grew up with & are proud to call my community, my Zootopia! Having everyone's phone locked in a bag meant not seeing hundreds of phone screens in my view of the performance. I miss the 80's & 90's when we did not have these distractions, other than the occasional camera flash. It was wonderful to hear Bono tell his stories with punctuations of his humor. Jacknife Lee, Gemma Doherty, and Kate Ellis brought new life to the songs we know so intimately. They really enhanced the evening. Thank you so much! Peace & Love!

Wonderful Evening for A Life Long Fan.
Thanks for making Chicago one of the stops on the book tour. Been a fan since War/Under a Blood Red Sky. Enjoyed the stories and the music. A truly unique evening. Can't wait to read the book!
