U2360° TOUR

E. Rutherford, NJ, US / Giants Stadium

Sir Mick Jagger, Phil Ramone, Kanye West, Rick Rubin all got shout-outs from Bono tonight, and the near 85,000-strong audience made it a night to remember.

Stand-out moment ? Probably when another youngster got invited to lap the stage for City of Blinding Lights. The band also smashed the house record tonight at Giants Stadium. The previous attendance record was held by Pope John Paul II after his visit to the stadium in 1995.

With gig goers in excess of 84472 it was a fantastic night at Giants. Speaking from the stage at the end of the night Bono said, "News just in. We've broken every record for attendance in this stadium - including the Pope. Sorry Bruce - we know its your birthday and all". Before adding later, "I know they're knocking this place down...we probably won't be here again before the wrecking ball but it was a magic place for us as well as the Giants"

Were you there? Tell everyone else what it was like. Here's what they played.

One of the best U2 shows I have ever seen! The sound was amazing and it was awesome to hear old songs mixed in with the new! I loved the remix of "I'll Go Crazy!" I can't wait to see you again in 2010!!!!!!

Giants Stadium Show 2
The show was great. I took my two daughters (ages 7 & 9) for their first concert and U2 show ever. We were lower tier on Adams side near the the leg of the claw 2 rows up from the floor. They loved the show. It was a blast sharing the experience with them after being a fan for 24 years. The girls loved City of Blinding Lights, Sunday Bloody Sunday, No Line on the Horizon and I'll Go Crazy remix to mention a few. U2.com forgot to put Stuck In a Moment on the setlist. Bono w/Edge on acoustic guitar did that one last night too. Although I forget exactly where in the set it was. As usual another great show by U2 and the 18th time seeing them live for me since The Joshua Tree tour. Keep rockin guys I hope you play Philadelphia in 2010.

U2 was GREAT!
We thought U2 was Great! It was my second show/tour (went to Vertigo first) and my girlfriends' first, and we thought that they were really Great, they were just amazing. The only complaint that we had about the whole night was the volume of Muses' show...way too loud, couldn't understand their lyricss, couldn't enjoy their music, no way to sell themselves to the audience. But U2 was U2!...can't wait for their next tour!

What a week!!!!
Just got back from my second show in four days after being at the Foxboro one Sunday. As always, 'Streets' brought down the house, although it sounded like Bono almost jumped to the chorus prematurely during the first verse. No worries, though...another amazing performance from a once-in-a-lifetime band. Thank you Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry for a thrilling week and I'll see you guys at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame benefit concert in NYC next month.

Looking forward to a fabulous show. Will Bruce show up? Let's hope so. That would be magical. Taking planes, trains, and automobiles to get there.
