Singing Up A Storm: Rush Hour in Addis

Bono's impromptu performance with Rush Hour star Chris Tucker in an AddisAbbaba High School is now on video.

During his recent fact-finding trip to Africa, with US Treasury SecretaryPaul O'Neill, Bono was joined by Tucker in a rousing sing-along and dancesegment during a high-school assembly.

The audience was Ethiopian students learning about sexual reproductivehealth, including HIV/AIDS prevention, through a Save the Children program.

The air was electric as Bono and Tucker entered a packed auditorium in AddisKetema High School and hundreds of parents and students clapped and stompedtheir feet as they joined in a school assembly on adolescent reproductivesexual health. According to the Save the Children reporter, 'the celebritieswere treated to a rousing dance routine, which first started on stage andthen gathered in front of Bono and Tucker in the front row of theauditorium. The crowd roared and clapped as Bono and Tucker jumped up anddanced, too. Bono took the microphone and sang to the audience, perched on afolding chair....'
