At the end of a week in New York City the band got up at the crack of dawn to play live for the students of Fordham University.

We captured the the moment with our stripped-down camera team, although you may find the sound quality dipping in and out. If you were there, let us know what it was like.

Hi everybody! They started singing the year I was born. I think that U2 is the soundtrack of my life! I'm from Catalunya, and Ihave tickets forboth concerts in Camp Nou. I can't wait for the tour!!!!

holding your breath

Our 13 year old son just came in and watched over my shoulder as Breathe played. Then he said, "Dad, we've just gotta go see U2." Can't let my son down now, can I? Not when a band I grew up with inspires him as much as they continue to inspire me.

U2@ FORDHAM

I happened to be one of the lucky ones to see "the boys" get up early for Fordham, Having stood for 10hrs for the OBAMA inauguration this was nothing. I thought the sound was great in the back where I was standing. Any tech difficulties seemed to be coming from GMA. Fordham community did themselves proud as host for the schools new "House Band". Who knew Father McShane could be so witty. GO RAMS!

Soul!!!

U2rocked Fordham even atsuch an early hour! Fabulous treat for the students at Fordham! I was fortunate to have gotten tixfor the last Letterman show in NYC & my husband & I braved the chilly nite air to meet the men of U2 (save Bono). We celebrated that dream well into that nite. Bono, what boots are you wearing?

Performace on GMA was excellent - as always! I have a question for Bono...I've seen him in the same boots for a few performances now. He wore the same boots on GMA as he did for the Grammy's and also on Letterman. Remind me of Frankenstein boots. Where'd they come from? Anyone know? Pretty cool and they give Bono a few extra inches in height :-)

My Bride

The performance was MAGNIFICENT! I can always judge how good a U2 project is for the masses by how my beautiful bride reacts to it. She enjoyed the morning performance and I have noticed that she is listening to the album on repeat in her office for two solid weeks!

Love that bass

I don't know much about music but I know what I like. I love that bass. I just think Mr. Clayton has really come into his own on this album. You can feel it in your bones. I love the album. My children are getting sick of it though, I haven't taken it out of cd player in the car since I bought it. God bless.

I was there

Flew in from the SF Bay Area hoping to get in and ended up paying a student to be his friend. Somehow pushed to the very front by the people behind me. It was a great performance, and I had hoped the band would play one more song after taking that above photo.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

I knew an alum of the univ, so I was able to go. I saw them over 20yrs ago and they're still just as good! Now I can't wait for the tour!
