When Homer Met Bono

This being the 20th anniversary of 'The Simpsons', it reminded us of the 200th episode, 'Trash of the Titans', broadcast in 1998.

It's the one where U2 play themselves, during the Popmart Tour. 'After a spat with some garbage men, Homer decides to run for the position of Sanitation Commissioner. He takes on the current commissioner, Ray Patterson, who is endorsed by the members of U2, and wins the election by making wild campaign promises.'

"Trash of the Titans" is my favorite Simpsons episode! My favorite part was when Adam asked Larry & Edge if he could join them for a beer, they said no, & he called them "Wankers". Quite the LOL moment

It was awesome!! What can be better? U2 and the Simpsons?? I guess the best part is when homer is being with the bodyguards while U2 sings Pride. COOOL!

The Garbage Man Can!
I love The Simpsons and I love this episode. It's great to see a period in history (PopMart) forever immortalized on such a milestone episode.
