You can't beat the view from a helicopter - as Edge discovered arriving over Auckland for the opening night of the New Zealand/Australia dates. Here's what he captured on camera.

Great performance
A stunning performance enjoyed immensely by me, my wife and our 2 daughters, Rhiannon 11 and Hayley 8 yrs.y wife and I's 3rd U2 concert and the best so far. Cheers guys!

Auckland 25th Nov was an awesome night - U2 Concert No 6 for me and each one gets better and better... Was great to be close to all the action on the stage and the catwalk, and One Tree Hill is always special treat at the NZ Concerts. Thanks too for honouring our 29 miners. We've had a tough few months in the Canterbury/West Coast region. Will see you in Montreal, Canada in July 2011 for both nights! You've been there for me for 26 years, so it only seems fair I travel the world to support you in return ;-) Deb, Christchurch, New Zealand.

NZ Loves U2
This is amazing - we were truly honored to have U2 play at Mt Smart - especially at a time when NZ was so lost in the thoughts of our 29 lost miners. To re-dedicated One Tree Hill to our men.....Thank you thank you thank you. Best concert ever.

Fly so high
The Edge captured a great view! It is very interesting to see how U2 travel to the stadium. I never thought that they would reach the venue by going through such a strange dark tunnel! And of course "Scarlet" is the perfect soundtrack for this video. Listening to it I always imagine to fly high above the world, because the music makes me feel free. It is great that U2;s scientist allows us to see everything from his own perspective! (-:D
