'Great to be back in Brisvegas'

19
'Queensland has treated us royally over the years,' reflected Bono in Brisbane - and the people here have some special talents observes Larry.

Here's the band musing on being in Queensland - and then playing Bad.

What a Memory!
U2, wonderful memory with the great song BAD...you MUST put that out on a B Side soon....please! reference to John Lennon...reference to the Almighty.... And to everyone up in Brisbane and Queensland, we're all with you. You know that. This is a great great country here in Australia, and we are all coming together to do our little bit. Why? that's my only question....to the Almighty.

Remember us here in Brisbane
Just over a month ago, U2 played 2 of the most memorable nights here in Brisbane. this week gone, the venue they played, Suncorp Stadium went under 7 ft of water as the city flooded. To all the fans near and far, remember us here in Brisbane.

So Sad About losing The Venue
Hi what a great night this was, and just sad about Suncorp going under 7ft of water and the fire in the stands because of the water. Hope they can get it back to its glory one day. Scott

Brisbane floods
Suncorp Stadium has been hit by the flood affecting Brisbane at the moment. The security staff at Suncorp treated the fans in the GA line very well, offering free sunscreen, shelter and water. I hope that they and their families are safe from the disastrous floods.

flooding
Queensland and Brisbane are suffering very badly at the moment. They are experiencing horrific flooding..Over 70% of the state is flooded and heading down to NSW. It has been described by the media like an inland Tsunami. Lives have been lost..properties..homes...cars..business..gone. So please keep these people in your thoughts..Ipswich.Toowooba hit badly..but now heading towards Brisbane..The Brisbane River is about to burst its banks. Your in our thoughts.

U2 are heartfelt gentlemen
I went to the U2 concert in memory of my son who died in an ultralight crash this year. I took his wife who was pregnant at the time of my sons death, and their baby Aiden was born 20 days after Michael died. My son had taken his wife to the u2 concert in sydney last time the band was here.. he wanted me to go. He grew up listening to U2 from my records. (yes I'm that old) I had never been to a concert before, it was awesome. All the band members, except for Bono (he was busy)signed my U2 war album . Which I will frame with the U2 tickets for my son's children. unfortunately I lost my camera pic card with pics of me wearing a pic of my son outside the suncorp stadium. thanxx Adam, Larry and t The edge. for making a memory to give to my grandchildren and stories of their da. maybe I"ll take my grandchildren to see U2 one day 3 generations. of U2 maybe in Ireland, we are irish italian blood. thanxx to an awesome band , made up of heatfelt gentlemen. love vertigonana

AMAZING
My home town get's a feature on U2.com - Love IT! Thanks U2 for coming back to Australia and putting on a tremendous spectacle. I loved every minute of the first Brisbane gig and having seen them on every tour to Australia, and also being fortunate to see them in London and Berlin last year, the gig on Dec 8 tops the list.

Made the trip from NZ to Brisbane to see the concert. It was the first U2 concert I have managed to see even though I have been a fan since my early teens. It was the most amazing concert I have seen. Cant wait for their next tour! Lisa Dunedin NZ

Generosity
This is one of the most heart-warming conversations between Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam. I love the way they honour Queensland and talk about generosity. U2 always know how to touch people;s souls on a personal level. Listening to the intense guitar interlude of "Bad" I can truly sense the strong connection between the bandmembers and the quiet end of the song is overwhelmingly beautiful.

" Bad" the original song!
I have not missed a tour since the war ablum. And "BAD " is a great complete song better than anyother bad song made! "Jr" from Ca. Santa Ana

Bad
Bad is my favourite song! I totally disagree with Bono when he says it's an unfinished song, I find it a masterpiece, even the studio version. I like this additional guitar Bono brought to this version, fits very well!
