Countdown Day 5

1 Aug 2010116
On Friday the 2010 European leg of U2 360°  opens at Turin's Stadio Olimpico.

But with just five days to go, a strange light is throbbing in the dark recesses of the stage.

Only those who have seen it before may dare utter its name.

What is this mystery? (Think you know? Illuminate the rest of us ... in the comments below. )

If I'm not mistaken.....
It's the innovative glowing ring that Bono sings into during Ultraviolet and With or Without You. I believe the Edge brought it back from his brief visit to his home planet beyond the stars and gave it to Bono as a gift :-)
