U2 get a 'proper' manager who likes their commitment to each other but is unsure of their talent.

Paul McGuinness sees U2 live at Dublin's Project Arts Centre, and becomes manager.

The connection with Bill Graham comes good. The band has considered Phil Lynott's words and decide that they need a 'proper' manager. Adam contacts Graham, who suggests Paul McGuinness, a friend from his college days. McGuinness has experience in the film industry, and Graham knows that for a while he's expressed an interest in managing a young band who were on the up. Graham works hard on persuading McGuinness to take up the challenge with U2, but McGuinness remains skeptical.

They get him along to the Project Arts Centre in Dublin, and, attracted by their enthusiasm, honesty and ambition, McGuinness finally says yes. He likes their commitment to each other, though he's unsure about their talent...
