'The Show Must Go On...'

18 Nov 201442
How rock'n'roll is Jimmy Fallon ?
How talented are The Roots?
When Bono's cycling accident meant the band couldn't make their residency on The Tonight Show this week, one thing was sure, as Jimmy told viewers: 'The Show Must Go On...'
They came up with the next best thing: Jimmy Fallon with The Roots performing 'Desire'.
How sensational is this performance?

Amazing
Jimmy rocks. I don't normally like others singing U2 songs, but he was fantastic. That was so fun. Heal quickly, Bono. Can't wait to see you guys do your week gig.

WOW
What a great cover took me right back to the Lovetown tour, perhaps Jimmy should rehearse some of the Experience tunes? Get well soon Bono, and dont worry, your lyrics appear to be in safe hands!

remember jimmy's comedy cd
remember when jimmy used to sing about trolls? and buying them and he sang about them to the tune of desire. hilarious. a bit of jimmy's past that he probably doesn't want to remember but he's always been very talented. loved it jimmy, bono hope you feel better soon. don't hurry or rush anything to start a tour, we can wait for that.

Bono's next gig will be...
...giving the opening monologue on The Tonight Show when U2 return to do their residency. Jimmy Fallon continues to impress. That brought contagious joy to my heart and had to delight Bono (if his pain killers are doing their job!) and the boys. If imitation is the best form of flattery, well then, mission accomplished.

If you don't live in North America
If you're not familiar with Fallon. Check him out on youtube. His collaberation with Bruce Springsteen covering Willow's "Whip My Hair" is classic.

Desire for sure
Wow! This Guy is really good! He has been waiting for this in his whole life I guess :) Just wondering what music a guy with such artistic feelings could have created on his own.

Right Up There With Your Best !
You should be proud Jimmy! Awesome Harmonica! Up there with your impressions of Jim Morrison, David Bowie, Eddie Vedder and Neil Young - Classic!

Uh-oh...Jimmy has come tumbling lol
Fun and amazing tribute to U2 by the multi-talented Jimmy....I'm sure that brought a good laugh to Bono and the lads. Once Bono recovers they should all perform a song together and take over once and for all lol....Bravo!!!

Wow, my sister and I had so much fun watching last night. I hope he cheered Sir Bono up a bit. So what's next?
