U2360° TOUR

This was my 5th tour, and I came to Zagreb so I could say that I saw them again, but what happened,it was absolutely " out of my mind experience". The Audience was AMAZING and FANTASTIC. My personal impression is that band felt that special energy and they just responded to it. It was amazing, glad I came. To city of Zagreb, you guys always did great, but this time you really kicked butt.Thanks to everybody..we all made this show one to remember. Simona was cool...:-))

It truly was a moment of surrender.my wife and i were on first night.unfortunately we couldn t get on the second.all are life we want it to come on one of your concert and we finally did it.my wife and me had sing every song loud as we can.you are the best band on earth,ever.i think you guys are from space,because this what you doing is not from earth.i really would like to get know you.id like to wrote a1000words to you,but where?your best fan ever--MARY and STIVI

There was something in the air that night (beside balloon ;)) and both crowd and U2 felt that... And now, the question is - how to get back to reality after that magical night???

Even that you are gone, to some other place, to people that you going to make happy, Zagreb is still under the influence. We needed such an event….we needed you ! U2 ! I’ve never been among so many people in my whole life. These people are my people. And I felt close to them. We went through big changes. And we are still on the road. But only if could have seen people walking after the concert….walking side by side, like we never walked before. This was not just a concert – this was a remedy .visual.. acoustic…emotional remedy. And my hope is that you will go out in the world, and to perform in many different places, to reach out to a people. For them you will not be just another band. You will unite their souls together, you will connect them…you will make a difference…just like you did in Zagreb. Thank you for that experience! God bless you!

It was so clear to everyone that U2 really put huge effort into their performance and were present not only physically but emotionally. Waiting 20 years to see the band and hear my fellow Irishmen, the two hour show was really an assault on all the senses - so intense that we didnt have the chance to absorb it all, a little overwhelming. After such a long wait, the show passed in an instant, too fast that I would really love to see it again. And U2's humanitarian message and work humbles us and inspires us to do better for those in need. Thank you, U2.

I know every song single song and have every album... Anyway, I WAS TOTTALY FREAKED OUT WHEN U2 CAME ON A STAGE, CRYING LIKE A BABY WHEN THEY PLAYED WHERE THE STREETS... The unforgettable show under the blue adriatic sky in Zagreb we know your name

Thought of myself being incredibley brave, leaving three children (age 6, twins 1,5 yrs) back home with their enormously responsible father as I was going to the concert. What if something happens while I am gone? Would God forgive me? Then I realised. Of course He would. What other choice would He have, anyway? Driving to the stadium, I grew bigger and bigger. But then.... Then God burst my self-inflicted image of bravery, elegantly, as He only can. I saw a women, she was wearing breast pads, her belly was flopping from recent birth, she was limping as her episiotomy wound was still fresh. Her child couldn't be more than a few days old. I began to shrink. A minute later, I saw families, parents with children of a school age, going together to the concert. U2, a family band? When did that happen? Then it hit me. Twenty one years, that's when it happened. That's how long has it been since I first heard U2. I was 13, Rattle and hum had just come out and, somehow, that album remained a turning point of my life. Black and white, I think of U2 and I see black and white. Bought Joshua tree right after that, and all the rest after that. Records were hard to get, then, everything was not served to the palms of our hands as it is today, and we dreamed of a concert. Then the movie came. Critics burried it. Couldn't figure it out. Why? Not a good movie? It was never ment to movie-lovers. It was ment to us. I read that the movie did well only in Ireland and here. Ireland was understandable. But here? Years later, I get it. The people in the West didn't care, they had a privilage of seeing you on stage, live, constantly. We did not. So the movie was the closest thing we had to that. It was even better. Taped it. And rewind it as many times as you like. And hear over and over again how Desire was a musical journey. Anyway, dreaming became easier. But still...We had to wait. And so we have. So have I, for twenty one years. Grew up, in the meantime. Finished medschool, on my way of becoming a surgeon, married to an enternal punker, got kids. And realised many things. For one, bloody sundays won't stop just because we learned the lyrics. And this country has seen many, too many. Poverty will not disappear just beacuse we think it should. One simply HAS GOT TO sit down and talk to the people who hold political power, mere rebelion on stage will not do. Not these days. And so, walk on, my favorite band, and come to us, to Zagreb, again. For we are not stuck in the moment. We are stuck in a lifetime.

thanks very much for the perfect concert in Zagreb it was beatiful and unforgetible concert.We here have the same problem like you in Ireland and was great lesson for all to forget differences an just have fun. I hope to see you soon maybe even in Pula in Arena. Thanx

It was a most beautiful evning in my life. Everything was perfect; sound, audience, choice of songs, baloon coreography and Simona (Croatian people knows why ;-)). Thx U2!!!

Thank you for giving your soul, your hearts and your trust to Zagreb! We know that we don't have the best stadium, but all of the fans who came have proven that you shouldn't be anywhere else on those two days. Sunday was a great show, but Monday was fantastic! Big thanks to a beautiful person Josipa a.k.a Sony, who organized and insisted on the balloon choreography, and to all beautiful people of Croatian U2 fan club who supported her. See you soon :)

Two nights of unforgettable fire right under the stage. I will never forget it. So what's next???? Can it get better?? The performance was incredible....Bono was strong on vocal, Larry enjoying as always, The Edge calm and powerful as always and Adam perfect as always :-) And yes....i hope for 2010 tour aswell! Gr8!!! So many emotions in your songs...I have no comment on Aug, 10th evening in Maksimir. We were as one :-))))) It should always like that. I hope there will be a DVD from Zagreb concerts to purchase on U2.com

After 27 years I finaly made it and finaly manage to see you live - and from the 1st row!... I've been dreaming about going to a U2 concert since 1992, when I first discovered them. I can only say that I am really sorry I didn't have the chance to go to a concert earlier. It is a fantastic show! I don't know which song exactly touched me the most...may be Stay, performed on the 9th, but the remix of I'll go crazy was astonishing as well, Unforgetable fire nearly made me cry and so on and so on. We just couldn't stop singing while driving home to Sofia for 10 hours ! I just hope you guys keep playing for us, I hope that I will be able to see you performing live again. PS Please, make a concert dvd from Zagreb!

I think I will need some time to get back to reality after the amazing two concerts I saw. This is the 3rd U2 tour I was at and I have to say that it was really special seeing them here in my country. It was my first time in the first row and I it's really a special feeling to see those 4 guys who I love with all my heart and soul so close. It finally made them...real :) All the nearly-heart-attack moments while getting the tickets a few months ago, all the waiting in the sun all day and running like a maniac to get to the first row was more than worth it:) Right now I'm in the "post-concert-depression" phase, I'm sad it is over, and when I think that another 4 or 5 years have to pass until I see them again... Ok, I better not think about it:) I guess I don't know how to explain all the emotions that have been storming through me these last days... The connection I felt with them on the concerts, and those 4 hours of pure happiness are something I will always hold dear, and always be thankful for. It was high time Croatia saw and experienced something this big. I'm really happy I was a part of it, I don't think that The Guys are even aware of what it was for us. I love other bands too, and I've been to many concerts in my life, but the feelings and memories from U2 concerts are something that cannot be compared to anything else. Two nights in Maksimir gave me life energy for the next 5 years at least and only made my love for U2 bigger, if it is even possible. :) Thank you, for coming here and making us feel like we're really one. We needed that. I just hope it will last more than a few days. Thank you for making this world a more beautiful place with everything you do. And thank you for playing Ultraviolet, my all time favorite song:)

I have been to many concerts in my life, including acdc recently in Belgrade, but the moment I stepped on the stadium I knew this is going to be something else. Just waiting for you guys to come out, surrounded with those happy people around, enjoying the Snow Patrol made me soo happy. Then, Major Tom and countdown and then two hours I will never forget. The power and clarity of sound, whole energy sorrunding stadium, everybody on their feet, singing wholeheartedly, beautiful stage, lights from other world, everything came together is those perfect two hours. Thank you U2, thank you for filling my and other hearts with pure joy and hope for the better world. You just did your part. Thank you!

To live in the Balkans has not proven to be a very good thing for many of us, but it is definitely not the best thing for you if you’re a music fan. Thus, U2’s visit to this part of the world has even greater importance and deeper meaning for us. I hope that the band has come to realize this and will light our way another time in the future. I am finally a man who has managed to live a child’s dream set long time ago in the eighties. My pilgrimage has come to an end and, unsurprisingly, I am ready for another one. _Igor, Macedonia

... the ideas you promote. formerly not the biggest fan, after resuming my thoughts for a couple of days, made a decision your shows were triggers of. i'm selling my house, leaving my job for dedicating all i have to promotion of peace and well being to those who need help. not crazy, just found out the the problem is out there, on the bigger picture. thank you.

…I got sunburns because I was waiting all day in the sun in front of stadium, our choreography with balloons wasn’t as good as we planned, when I finally got into inner circle I was elbowed, one guy was stepping on my fingers half the time, although I was in the pit, I couldn’t see the main stage because guys in front of me were tall and they were literally squeezing me, I didn’t get autograph because when I got to airport you were already gone… BUT IT WAS PERFECT and none of that matter when 4 best guys in the world came on stage. WITHOUT DOUBT BEST NIGHT IN MY LIFE!!! SO THANK U(2) FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I hope that you also enjoyed the show as the crowd did. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK!

Saw the second show, I still can't believe what I saw. Indeed I have found what I've been looking for. Simply loved it! The whole show was amazing, but Unforgettable Fire and Ultraviolet made my day. I literary gave me goose pimples... I can't thank you enough guys for coming and playing for us. And I am going to hold you to your promise that you'll be coming back.

We are still talking about yesterday's show, at work, with familly members...Yesterday on my left there was a familly with a kid, probably about 8 years old, and on my right a pair, probably a wife and husband, around 55 years old. All of them were standing on their feet for the whole 2 hours. I hope we will meet again in Zagreb soon

hvala lijepa Zagreb, was awesome, your city as beautiful as ever and the people even more, your train stration sucks at wee morning hours but I survived lol somehow I feel like "stuck in the moment" was the high of the concert ...there was something so deep there and the crowd felt it . I'm proud of my neighbourhood and especially proud of Simona, showed the world (and Bono in particular me thinks hehehe he totally lost it for a moment lol ) what hips were made for in the Balkans...even in the western part of it :D... I haven't followed the shows before the concerts and crazy remix is mindblowing disco live. a girl that's been listening to u2 with her heart for a while now got to hear music played through the heart last night. anyone still cranky 'bout the setlists or godknowswhat grow up please. thank you u2, thank you everyone who made 10. 8. a beautiful day indeed erm....and boys from Rijeka...thanx for the beer and company :D blonda
